Collapse: Can you handle it ?
Estava há espera deste filme há algum tempo e não me correspondeu ás espectativas, demasiado cinematográfico, homens a chorar ? moh isso é mt hollywood para mim. E desconfio que o Sr. do filme "se comprometeu" com forças maiores, ao contrário do que ele diz, e deu a dica que tinha uma casa para pagar e tal, e isso já é um compromisso... os verdadeiros lone-rangers da verdade não se metem com bancos para pagar casas com fundações, em vez disso têm uma auto-caravana para fazerem emissões das suas descobertas a altas velocidades enquanto fogem do FBI!

O http://projectlondonmovie.com é um filme indie, que diz ter perto de 650 efeitos especiais e foi feito por colaboradores através da Internet. Faz grande uso de ferramentas como o blender para composição, 3d e efeitos especiais.

Sobre o uso da palavra pirata
Parece que a casa branca anda a ter reuniões á porta fechada com a industria do entertainment. Desse encontro espera-se que saiam mais umas leis para proteger os lucros desse industria, que foram de 30 biliões, o valor mais alto de sempre. Como sempre a minha opinião é contra criação de barreiras/leis artificiais que só fazem a sociedade menos bela e dá poderes ao estado de entrar na intimidade das pessoas em busca de bytes organizados de forma a mimicar algum outro conteudo existente.
Para finalizar coloco o conjunto de bytes organizados logicamente que exprime este abuso semantico do termo pirata que um slashdoter comentou.

And yeah, get off my lawn, or whatever other dismissiveness you want to conjure. Disagree all you want, but try to do it without dismissing me as pedantic or a grammar nazi. Try some substance.
Language matters; word choice matters. All actions start as thoughts, thoughts happen in words. By calling a government a regime, we can make overthrowing it more palatable. By calling a person a kike, nigger, rag head, witch etc, we can make them not human, so killing them won't be murder. Hacker was a positive term. The "man" (media, law, etc) has corrupted the word hacker to refer to criminals. It's like calling Nazis German over and over until the word German means Nazi. When we blur the distinction between words we lose expressiveness and have to invent awkward ways to regain specificity that we threw away out of laziness and ignorance. Yeah languages change over time, but there is evolution and there is devolution and corruption. Change is not inherently good.
And stand up for yourselves.

O site onlineeducation tem um poster informativo do despercicio que é consumir água das garrafas. Eu pessoalmente tb aderi á moda das garrafas. Pensei que "eles" devem saber o que fazem, pelos vistos eu estava certa e eles errados (citando o João Pedro Pais).

The Story of Stuff
Yo people !
Depois de algum tempo ausente volto aqui para colocar um video sobre desenvolvimento sustentável, chamado "The Story of Stuff", que é uma curta que dá algumas dicas uteis, ao contrário dos documentários que que têm passado na RTP2 que parecem feitos por pessoal de marketing (em vez de cientistas), que só servem para encher as pessoas de culpa sem sequer sugerirem soluções (que é o mesmo que dizerem matem-se ). Ainda + qd as pessoas sentem culpa, tendem a comprar coisas pois acham que assim recuperam o karma, ora se a televisão nos diz para comprar coisas e no intervalo diz que são todos uns porcalhões, e depois volta a dizer para comprar coisas, a TV é que sabe né !!!
Para contrabalançar essa agressividade dos media ponho aqui um livro que balança essa culpa toda com dicas para ajudar, o 365 ways to save the earth. E já sabem um verdadeiro ecologista não compra livros nem filmes nem nada, ou saca-os da internet ou consóme-os directamente na FNAC para que estes possam ser consumidos por outros tb sem aumentar emissões de CO2 !!!!!

Truckers Delight animated video clip directed by newcomer wunderkid Jérémie Périn who takes the song's title (a tribute to those little pleasures that the lonely truck- driver indulges himself in) and takes it to the next level. Think Spielberg's Duel + Russ Meyer's Faster Pussycat Kill Kill! and Marc Dorcel's wildest fantasies. All warped into an 8-bit Sega era style graphic. And this clumsy and somehow pretentious description doesn't even come close to what you're about to see: it's très funny,très dirty, -très sexy. Très Flairs indeed.
Truckers Delight EP will be available in digital and 12" on November 23th. With 2 remixes by veteran Alex Gopher of French touch fame. Who's clearly has chosen the dance floor as his home turf. And Alixander III, taking some time off his duo Azari & III, who infiltrate the track with his science for cool grooves and his trademark modern take on the classic Chicago sound.

Ig Nobel
Os prémios Ig Nobel foram distribuidos a 3 de Outubro. Para não destoar, este post tem um ignóbil atraso de um mês. Foi de propósito.
Para quem não sabe o que é, o Ig Nobel, são prémios para a “pesquisa improvável”. O tipo de coisa que nos ocorre quando estamos parados no trânsito intestinal.
Como premiados de 2009 encontram-se estudos/investigações das variadas áreas cientificas, nomeadamente (só os meus preferidos):
- Medicina veterinária: Estudo sobre as vacas com nome que dão mais leite do que as anónimas.
- Paz: Demonstação experimental sobre se é melhor ser atingido na cabeça por uma garrafa de cerveja vazia ou cheia.
- Economia: Directores, executivos e auditores de 4 bancos Islandeses por demonstrar que pequenos bancos podem-se tornar rapidamente em grandes e vice-versa e pela demonstração que o mesmo se pode aplicar a economias nacionais.
Estou particularmente interessada no da paz. Peace!
